JSC Kontur has a great experience in development and manufacturing the devices from technical ceramic & can help you in solving of different technological problems. We are ready both to develop the technological process and manufacture technical ceramic devices.
Corundum materials with contents of the aluminium oxide Al2O3 of 95-99.5 % is widely used in various areas of industry. Thanks to its properties ceramics is used as high-voltage and high-frequency insulators, current inputs, environments of devices, substrates of electroresistance. The devices made of ceramics can be soldered by means of active metals in vacuum and after preliminary metallization by refractory metals, the ceramics can be soldered with copper and nickel. Besides, ceramic details can be soldered with each other and with metals by means of fusible and refractory glass-solder.

       

 

 

 

 Material VC94 – vacuum-tight ceramics.

Main properties of the ceramic articles:
- High mechanical durability;
- Good heat conductivity and temperature constancy;
- High electroresistance;
- High electric durability;
- Low dielectric losses in a wide spectrum of frequencies and temperatures.

The material is made of high-quality aluminous raw material.
It has proved as an outstanding ceramic material due to high hardness, stability to erasing, excellent corrosion resistance and magnificent quality of the surface.
Durability of material VC94 is comparable to diamond though yields to it.
Aluminium oxide Al2O3 - very firm substance with a heat of fusion - 2050 °Ñ.
It exists in several crystal updatings (a - Al2O3, g - Al2O3).
Obtaining:
4Al + 3O2 ----> 2Al2O3
2Al(OH)3 ----> Al2O3 + 3H2O
Chemical properties: amphoteric oxide (a - Al2O3 distinguishes of high chemical resistance), it does not interact with water.
It reacts with acids and alkalis: Al2O3 + 6HCl - ---> 2AlCl3 + 3H2O, Al2O3 + 2NaOH + 3H2O - ---> 2Na [Al (OH) 4].
Alloying with alkalis and carbonates of alkaline metals: Al2O3 + Na2CO3 - t-> 2NaAlO2 + CO2, Al2O3 + 2NaOH - t-> 2NaAlO2 + H2O.
The material is not porous absolutely.
Volumetric density of the material is not less 3,8õ10³ êã/ì³.
This kind of ceramics does not absorb a moisture at all (water absorption is 0,0 %).
On mechanical properties the material provides durability on a bend not less than 280 ÌPà., crack-resistance - not less than 3,2 ÌPà. ì0,5.
However, it is necessary to handle with the products as with ceramics: not suppose mechanical influences, negligent transportation and storage, hit of polluting substances.
If it is necessary to cut a product - apply only diamond blades for ceramics on a stationary machine tools at absence of the circle palpation.
Because of possible process of crack-appearance applying the procedures of cutting and grinding to products is not recommended.

The material has high stability to erasing (abrasive resistance).

 
Material VC100
It is high aluminium oxide material with contents of Al2 O3 not less 99,5 %.
VC100 completely corresponds to the material Ñ799 under the report IEC 672 of The International Electrotechnical Commissions.
It is widely applied in manufacturing of the products used up to the temperature - 1800°Ñ.
The material is not porous absolutely. Volumetric density of the material not less 3,8õ10³ kg/m³. This kind of ceramics does not absorb a moisture at all (water absorption is 0,0 %). On mechanical properties the material provides durability on a bend not less 300 ÌPà. However, it is necessary to handle with the products as with ceramics: not suppose mechanical influences, negligent transportation and storage, hit of polluting substances.
If it is necessary to cut a product of VC100 (to shorten) - apply only diamond blades for ceramics on a stationary machine tools at absence of the circle palpation. Because of possible process of crack-appearance applying the procedures of cutting and grinding to products is not recommended.
The given kind of material possesses remarkable electroisolation properties. So, superficial electric resistance makes 1015 ohm.. At a room temperature usual resistance is not worse than 1012 ohm. And at 600 °Ñ - 106 ohm.
 
Materials of Zirconium Oxide

Zirconium oxide together with aluminium oxie and titan oxide belong to the oxide ceramics group.
It’s consumer properties are good stability to erasing, extremely smooth external surface for processing strings and wires and low heat conductivity. With such properties ZrO2 has many scopes of appliance.
It’s properties zirconium oxide receives due to additives of stabilizers such as magnesium oxide.
Due to calcine thin crystal structure appeares which gives to the material high stability from destruction (crack-appearance) and mechanical durability.
Details of zirconium oxide are made by dry pressing, extrusion, sputter and sticky moulding. From all ceramic materials of the industry zirconium oxide has the lowest heat conductivity. Due to polishing the smooth external surface is achieved at preservation of the bottom layers of metal with high properties on friction.
